Raj's thoughts current & future - Part 3
Been letting work get better of me. So thought will update. I am sorry that I seem to have lost the logical follow some where along the way... :(
The Future man will have a very very long life. For all diseases would be conquered and a new born is innoculated at birth. In the event of a death of the Future Man a new baby is created using the frozen sperms and eggs. The reproduction does not involve human beings.
When a child is born certain operations are performed (obviously by programmed machines) which insert ‘Intelligent Chips (IC)’ in the brain. These chips contain the learning which a normal human being requires – something equivalent to the knowledge we get in about 12-16 years of schooling and college. So you have a case of an adult member of the society by the age of 5 or earlier. The reader might wonder how years of learning would be compressed in a chip. It will not be. When the brain asks for some detail the thought is transmitted to the IC which then communicates to the central Knowledge Base and the response is communicated back. The ‘IC’ has the task of imparting the initial learning like the language and simple arithmetic. This is done pro actively. By sending the right impulses/signals to the brain and then responding by giving the correct answers. Akin to the way a normal child learns the Alphabet and numbers.
Keeping in mind that all menial work is done by machines we have human being who is now productive to the society.
The ‘IC’ are also networked to different sensors in the body like heart, mouth, eyes, ears and the brain. These sensors keep monitoring the functions of these organs. Organ like the heart will also have a support system to keep it going – an advanced pace maker. The ‘IC’ will also have the ability to communicate to central computer which monitors the health of all the human being.
To understand the above concept better one needs to understand that it would become difficult to identify what is a computer and what is a communicating device. The merger will be total. With each piece of equipment having computing, artificial intelligence and communication technology packed into it. Also keep in mind that all communication using whichever medium would be at the speed of light or faster. Computing power would be multifold higher than the best available today. The other factor increasing the speed would be the software. The software and the way data is distributed and retrieved would be done in an intelligent manner.
Each Future Man will be number. Each person then communicates his wishes through the ‘IC’ in his brains removing the need for even verbal communication. Communication between different people would also be through ‘Thoughts’. Lets say Person 235656 wants to communicate to Person 432654 he would then construct his communication in mind and the ‘IC’ picks it up and transmits to the nearest computer with number of the person (In this case 432654) in the header. The computer then transmits it to the IC inside the head of the person 432654. Using the principle of email and cellular phones of today.
He will be seated in a mobile chair (computer controlled vehicle) and all his movements are executed using the chair. The chair will not have wheels but would be designed for movement with technology used on military tanks. The seat would swiveling facility like typical executive chairs. His desire to travel will either be fulfilled by fine tuned virtual reality or the mobile vehicle will take him there. In the event that the travel requires different modes of transport necessary logistics are arranged. All communication through thoughts communicated via the ‘IC’
