Raj's thoughts current & future - Part 3

Been letting work get better of me. So thought will update. I am sorry that I seem to have lost the logical follow some where along the way... :(

The Future man will have a very very long life. For all diseases would be conquered and a new born is innoculated at birth. In the event of a death of the Future Man a new baby is created using the frozen sperms and eggs. The reproduction does not involve human beings.

When a child is born certain operations are performed (obviously by programmed machines) which insert ‘Intelligent Chips (IC)’ in the brain. These chips contain the learning which a normal human being requires – something equivalent to the knowledge we get in about 12-16 years of schooling and college. So you have a case of an adult member of the society by the age of 5 or earlier. The reader might wonder how years of learning would be compressed in a chip. It will not be. When the brain asks for some detail the thought is transmitted to the IC which then communicates to the central Knowledge Base and the response is communicated back. The ‘IC’ has the task of imparting the initial learning like the language and simple arithmetic. This is done pro actively. By sending the right impulses/signals to the brain and then responding by giving the correct answers. Akin to the way a normal child learns the Alphabet and numbers.

Keeping in mind that all menial work is done by machines we have human being who is now productive to the society.

The ‘IC’ are also networked to different sensors in the body like heart, mouth, eyes, ears and the brain. These sensors keep monitoring the functions of these organs. Organ like the heart will also have a support system to keep it going – an advanced pace maker. The ‘IC’ will also have the ability to communicate to central computer which monitors the health of all the human being.

To understand the above concept better one needs to understand that it would become difficult to identify what is a computer and what is a communicating device. The merger will be total. With each piece of equipment having computing, artificial intelligence and communication technology packed into it. Also keep in mind that all communication using whichever medium would be at the speed of light or faster. Computing power would be multifold higher than the best available today. The other factor increasing the speed would be the software. The software and the way data is distributed and retrieved would be done in an intelligent manner.

Each Future Man will be number. Each person then communicates his wishes through the ‘IC’ in his brains removing the need for even verbal communication. Communication between different people would also be through ‘Thoughts’. Lets say Person 235656 wants to communicate to Person 432654 he would then construct his communication in mind and the ‘IC’ picks it up and transmits to the nearest computer with number of the person (In this case 432654) in the header. The computer then transmits it to the IC inside the head of the person 432654. Using the principle of email and cellular phones of today.

He will be seated in a mobile chair (computer controlled vehicle) and all his movements are executed using the chair. The chair will not have wheels but would be designed for movement with technology used on military tanks. The seat would swiveling facility like typical executive chairs. His desire to travel will either be fulfilled by fine tuned virtual reality or the mobile vehicle will take him there. In the event that the travel requires different modes of transport necessary logistics are arranged. All communication through thoughts communicated via the ‘IC’

Raj's thoughts current & future - Part 2

Continuing from part 1. We have a situation where the number of people in the world is a manageable number. At this stage man now is very depended on machines. The machines do all the boring routine work.

This is what I see. Each human being has a chip embedded in his/her brain. This is then connected (networked) to the nearest hub. This way every one is connected all the time. (Difficult to imagine, not really, with cell phones one is connected all the time in a city, state or country or countries).

Now is the interesting part, the chip is connected in such a way to ensure that its able to provide the right signals to the brain. For eg, If one just thinks that one needs to listen to a song, the chip gets activated, connects to the nearest server, down loads the songs and provides signal to the brain, making the person 'hear' the song. Same applies to a feeling, taste or even sight. What this does is to keep the person physically in one place, but be able to travel, feel, taste things from any where in the globe. In last post I mentioned about 'tablets'. The man eats a tablet, tells his brain that he wants to feel 'eating steak' and all the correct messages are given so that while the tablet is being eaten, he/she gets the taste of steak.

As to the society, there will be a set of wise men (politburo) who will rule/control the rest and decide future directions. The rest will be occupied in ensuring that the machines are maintained. There will be machines which will maintain machines, but still would be supervised by the 'citizens'

More in the next part.

My views on where man kind is going to

These posts are what I believe will be where making will finally evolve to be. While some of my thoughts may or may not have rationale, they are highly possible. Actually I had written this in late nineties.

One of the assumptions of this prophecy is that there has to some kind of major disaster (natural or man made) which will reduce the population to a manageable number.

Evolution to me stops when developments stops happening. In today's world its only the homeo sapien which is still evolving. All other animals / plants have reached their last stages of evolution or can be called as evolved.

In my view when man reaches the final stage of evolution, the physical characteristics will be such that he/she will have big head and all other parts of the body will be dysfunctional. (except heart & lungs). The legs will be useless as man will travel (when required) in a automated intelligent wheel chair. Hands will be useless too, why, well you will know as we go along. The stomach will not have any function as man will eat 'tablets' which will be 100% absorbed and provide the required nutrition.

There is theoretical death, but not practical. Death cause there is a life cycle for every thing in universe, however man would clone himself, so that even when a physical being is dead, another exactly same physical being is created .

That's enough for the day
